About Dr Mona Bhatt

Dr. Mona Bhatt passed M.D in Obst – Gynecology in 1988 from B.J Medical College Ahmedabad. After that, she received in-house training in Infertility & IVF at “Fertility Clinic” Mumbai under renowned doctors Late Dr. Mehroo Hansotia & Dr. Sadhana Desai way back in 1992-93. The centre was responsible for 1st Test Tube Baby in India in Private Sector. She shifted to Baroda to start such set up, which could have been first in Gujarat in 1993. But destiny had something else in mind. She could not start IVF. She continued to practice infertility doing USG, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy and IUI. She also practiced IVF using other Laboratories.

In 2009, Dr. Mona Bhatt decided to refresh her knowledge. She went to Kiel Germany and did three months diploma in ART (Asst. Reproductive technologies) & Endoscopy under guidance of Prof. Andreas Smutzler & Prof. Lisollete Metler.

After long waiting...... she could fulfill her dream to practice IVF and bring smiles on the faces of infertile couples. In Nov 2016, she established Hera IVF & Fertility Centre.
